Subject: how do apply for a visa when it is impossible
to find out what kind of visa I need? Also I can´t fill in several of the mandatory fields in the visas application forms I have seen - so what do I do? Does the Canadian Immigration Service employ people any more? You know, folk who can answer questions?

probably better to explain my (our) position. We are UK citizens, but left for good eight years ago. Since then have been travelling continuously, never resident in ANY country. This alone makes it almost impossible to prove anything required, but add that we haven't been required to file accounts in any country and it makes it a nightmare to prove we have the capacity to run our own business. Yet we have lived (and worked) successfully throughout this period and have enough capital to buy a house/ land in British Columbia which is where we want to settle..
